I can just imagine some of the comments as people look at this card. "Gosh, I didn't think Joanne did delicate cards??" "Is this really jojot's card???" Yep, it is my card, and yep, on occasion I have been known to do a delicate card. Well, our challenge from Nancyruth this week was to use flowers. Since I was unsure on whether that could be image or primas, I used both to make sure I had the challenge covered. By coincidence, the image fit inside this paper pierced layer I had just finished a day or so ago. I used an Ornare template to do this. I kept the card pretty simple so attention would be on the image and the piercing, rather than on the color and design. I really love this card even though it is not really my typical style.

Well, here in Connecticut we continue to be brisk and damp. Here at our house we REFUSE to turn the heat back on, which is why I sit here with a turtleneck and a thick hoodie on, still chilled.....lol!!!!
Had a nice day today. Went to the mall and out to lunch with a dear friend. Shared stories and laughs.......a perfect outing!!! Hope you found reason for joy in your day!!!

That ornare is so pretty. I've been meaning to try it out, I think you could adapt some quilting patterns to this, not the blocks, but the sewing part? Very delicate.

Your card is lovely and I am gaga about your Ornare piercing template; do you have part number [I hope]. I'd love to know it so I can try to locate a template for myself! Thanks!
