I am usually pretty adventurous with color, both brightness and in combo with other colors. But I must say the inspiration piece for this challenge caught my eye because it combined colors that I would not normally combine. Below is the inspiration piece.
This is certainly not a practical purse or color combo, but I found it a fun challenge to create a card inspired by it. The main image I used is from Cornish Heritage Farms, while the backgrounder I used for the skeletal leaves is an unlabeled unmounted sheet. It is a fav of mine.
Hope you are enjoying the start to the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Please, at some point this weekend, take a moment to remember the reason behind this long holiday weekend. Remember those who have sacrificed in any way in service of our country. My dad was a veteran of World War II and lost his arm in the D-Day invasion. My brother served in Vietnam. Enjoy the holiday, but take a moment to give thanks to those who serve.
Have a fabulous day!!!
