A Final (I Hope) Goodbye to Winter!!!

The first day of spring approaches, the daffodil leaves are several inches out of the ground, today is sunny and is supposed to be fairly warm (for New England in March), and my card has SNOWFLAKES. Well, consider it winter's last hurrah!!! My friends know that I've never met a paper snowflake or snowflake stamp which I didn't covet. The real stuff....now that is a different story.

I apologize for not having many details on companies for the stamps. I made this in the wee hours of the morn and am now two flights up from where the stamps 'live'. However I will tell you that the background panels were stamped and heat embossed with detail white embossing powder. The main panel was stamped with Cool Caribbean ink first, and then the sentiment was stamped over the snowflakes in tuxedo black.

This card makes me smile.....so I guess you could say I am pleased with the results! One amazing thing is that I, the Queen of Black Matting, made a soft, gentle card with NO BLACK!!!

Must thank Roxie again for a fabulous sketch. If I have the time later I may try another one. Have a fabulous day!! Do something that makes YOU happy!
