Play with Those New Toys.....with the CCEE
As the January hostess for the CCEE Stampers, I challenged the DT to make a creation with their new toys (stamps, tools, embellishments, designer paper, flowers, etc.). Well.....I made my card using three virgin dies I acquired recently. I must say that the idea of this card is not original to me. I have seen a number of creations on Pinterest using this same idea AND decided I wanted to try one myself. The large die and the border die with the houses are from Memory Box. The tree border die is from Impression Obsession. I must say that this was a bit difficult to 'finish'. I knew what I had to do, but the actual process ended up more complicated than I expected. But.....I must say I like the results. I now have a card for the 2013 holiday stash!!!
Now....be sure to journey on to the CCEE Stampers Blog to be 'enabled' as I am sure you will see some toys you will just have to have as your own....lol!!!
You are too good a Christmas card already for this year :) ... Love what you have done with these dies. May have to acquire a few of those sometime hehe
ReplyDeleteWow, Joanne....worth every minute you put into this beauty. Awesome, GF!
ReplyDeleteI WANT all these dies. What a beautiful winter scene you created, Joanne. That's a perfect, little village.
ReplyDeleteAwesome winter scene, Joanne. White-on-white always looks so elegant.
ReplyDeleteWow - what a gorgeous white on white card. I think I have one of those dies sitting in my basket already :D. I love the tree border die! I'm having to shim the only IO dies I've got yet, so I'm sitting on the fence about getting more of them.
ReplyDeleteI actually had made a Christmas card with my other new stamps, but then I realised I needed to post my sister's birthday card yesterday so I made a second card with new stamps :D.
I love all your new die cuts, and what is more elegant than Winter White??? This is awesome, gf!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a serenely beautiful white winter wonderland scene you've designed, JoJo! I love it!
